New Workshop: Disaster Planning, Response and Recovery

NCPC has been giving a great opportunity to fill ten seats in this workshop. Time is short, so sign up today!

Disaster Planning, Response and Recovery

Martha Battle Jackson, Chief Curator for North Carolina Historic Sites, and Sharon Bennett, Archivist at Charleston College, join forces again to lead this 2-day workshop. The pair have shared their own hard-won lessons in disaster planning, and guided participants in useful artifact recovery techniques for a variety national and regional organizations in the past, such as American Association for State and Local History and Southeast Museums Conference. This fall, they’ll focus on training North Carolina’s collections stewards through a combination of presentations and hands-on disaster simulations.
